Wow, Vitali has made his career out of beating Unheralded fighters like Hoffman, Williams, Sanders, Johnson, Arreola etc. Another Quote of the week
Even a shot to **** Tyson lasted longer against Lewis than VITLAY did, just think what a prime version would be like :yep
Those fighters were all all time greats....or at least they were built up to be by the Klit-ites on this board Sanders was apparently the most dangerous southpaw in history :rofl
Yes and no. The facts are in his prime Tyson was very hard to hit. He defence was very good. Part of the reason why he was seen as invincible was his ability to evade punches. Indeed, if you're a small heavyweight, you have to be able to evade punches to succeed. As soon as he didn't/lost the ability to slip punches, Tyson disadvantage in size was more telling and meant he was no longer a great fighter. People became less scared of him because they could hit him, and if you can hit a guy who has a reach shorter than yours, you're going to be in the driving seat. But in answer to the question, Prime Tyson would win because he is one of the greatest of all time. He would knock Vitali out by the mid rounds.
Easy fight for Tyson. Vitali is a big lumbering punching bag. He has no skills. Tyson KO/TKO mid-late rounds.
Tough Choice Vitali is bigger stronger has a better jab cross combos chin and over all skill than Douglas Tyson is nothing Vitali has ever seen I honestly could not tell you who wins. Too many what ifs. If Vitali wins it would be in Lewis fashion if Tyson wins it would be in Tucker fashion
True but I think Prime Holyfield wud also destroy Klitscho 's V & W...The Holyfield that warred with Bowe.. Tysons downfall was his ability to adapt ..he became predictable against thinkin fighters ..predictability breeds managability ...had he adopted a changeup style ..switch hands ..back up ...wear down ...his story wud have been longer ...
Prime vs. prime (that means, NOT the 3 times surgery fixed Lennox version), it could be either Klitschko on points if his skin holds up, or Tyson by TKO. I'd favor Tyson, but really only the on-fire version of his early career. Anything in the Holyfield/Douglas shape or after gets beaten on points, as I think he could take the accumulation damage Klitschko uses without getting stopped. Late Klitschko isn't mobile enough to weather the storm.
