Are you on crack?
I get that your a big fan of him but why make up lies and completely overrate him?
I don't make up any lies, where did you come up with that stupid idea ?!?
Plus I don't overrate him, I really believe he is the best ever.
No. Tyson hadn't faced a Povetkin level boxer in his career.
Exactly, Tyson only beat B level fighters
I favour Tyson, but I think that it would be a lot closer than the "Tyson was invincible" fanboys think it would be and that Povetkin has a decent chance of the win.
What counts in Tyson's favour is that he has a power edge and that he throws short, compact hooks quickly. Sasha will find it hard to land his overhand right and he's hooking with one of the best. Povetkin's favoured fighting distance is also Tyson's, and that's not a good thing.
What counts for Povetkin is that he has a wider arsenal of punches, a high workrate and a better boxing brain. If he gets through the early rounds, I think he'd take it down the stretch. His money punch against Tyson could be his excellent uppercut. His stamina was excellent. His defence was also underrated.
Tyson made them all look like bums cause he was so good.
They were all lesser fighters, when the elite fighters started to come in the early 90s they all took out Tysons opponents much more convincingly
Povetkin hasn't faced a Tyson level boxer in his career.
Povetkin was good, but Tyson in his prime was better. Povetkin hasn't a marked size advantage really and style-wise, he's right there for Tyson.
IF Alexander could take it to the later rounds and frustrate Tyson, there might be a window of opportunity for a win, but that's a big if, imo. Again imo, Iron Mike had more power and he had speed too backed up by a good chin.
I think it's a good fight for the duration of it, but Iron Mike likely busts up Pov for a stoppage in 5 or 6 rounds
LOL out of respect. Tyson ices him fairly easily. Not even Povetkin would pick himself to win.
So yes, you are on crack.
So you're saying that the elite fighters were elite because they managed to beat Tyson's opponents, who were five-to-ten years OLDER than they were when they faced Tyson and had been through the ringer with Tyson, more 'convincingly'
This thread started well, but soon turned into another invincible Prime Tyson KOes everyone in 1 round bs.
Styles make fights.
