Cmom man, stop the Tyson B.S..
He couldn't dent today's Aj chin, and talk about a fighter fading. After 3 round tyson was s sitting duck.

I grew up through the tyson blimp.
Aj by mid to late ref/corner mercy save. Tyson attacked and could be countered to death by top level fighters

Tyson had fired Rooney by the Bruno fight and was all over the place! If Tyson fought that way throwing one punch at a time with no head movement, AJ`s combo punching would be too much for him, this was not prime Tyson he was on the way down and Douglas finished off the job, Bruno hurt Tyson in the first round off their bout but couldn`t finish with the combo`s AJ used to stop Wlad, Bruno would have been stopped early by a 40 year old Wlad, simply a different level, I don`t see any comparison between AJ and Bruno other than their power, there size isn`t even the same, AJ is bigger and his reach and jab would be too much for an out of sorts Mike who wasn`t ready to slip and counter the jab like he did under Rooney, I don`t get this thread AJ would beat Bruno easily, maybe if Tyson landed first he could pull it off but it`s a big ask, prime well trained Tyson would be a different matter.

Tony Tucker the year he fought Tyson might have been able to beat AJ and Tyson didn`t fade after 3 rounds in that fight because he was still being trained by Rooney.

Aj has never been in with someone as ruthless as Mike. Mike by TKO early. Crazy to match up Mike with AJ when AJ is still far from retiring.

Hard to say. Joshua is bigger than Bruno and seems, smarter and mentally tougher. Tyson was a beast though. I don't think it goes to the scorecards. If I had to pick I'd say Tyson by KO. Joshua is still inexperienced and yet to reach his peak though. My opinion could change in the future.

Tyson with Rooney would have had him out of there in the first three or four rounds. Too skilled for Joshua.

As someone said above Tyson was on the slide against Bruno the first time round without rooney. In the corner. He would have made quicker work of Bruno also if it was a year or two beforehand.

Actually think there's a good few of them from the so called bum era of Tyson's that would beat Joshua.

Tyson himself said he would not fancy himself against the likes of AJ and Wlad because they are too big and athletic in the modern era.

Comparing era's is never wise, and quite frankly, not fair, in any sport. Over time factors such as technology improve fighters.

Just go and watch Lennox Lewis's fight again. He and his opponents are much slower than modern heavyweights.

AJ would tell Hearns to make Mike fight Whyte instead.

It is kind of early to tell about the true quality of Joshua but I have a feeling Tyson had a better chin, better stamina and better speed. Joshua does have size and power if that was enough to back up Tyson then Joshua would have a good chance, if Tyson was quickly bobbing and weaving, getting under Joshua's jab, different story.

Tyson had more power in one punch than Joshua. This big muscles don't give you bigger punching power.

You lived through Tyson's reign or slept through it?
