Mike Tyson vs Anthony Joshua same as Mike Tyson vs Frank Bruno?

Takam fought better against AJ than McCall did vs Bruno. Jumbo Cummings had Bruno out on his feet and he was nowhere near the level of Whyte who would have found Bruno easier to hit than AJ because Frank was less mobile than AJ actually! If Whyte hit Bruno with the shot that hurt AJ it would have ended the same way as all the other times Bruno got hurt.

Right. Bruno troubled Tyson far more than Joshua ever would.

Tyson was crap that day and look at the difference when AJ hurt Wlad to Bruno who panicked after landing one of the few left hooks he threw in that fight, like how ripped Wlad`s body was compared to Tyson`s on that day, Tyson`s body had lost it`s old vim according to Dundee who trained Thomas for his match against Tyson, Pinklon landed far more jabs in that fight than Bruno did in his bout v Mike, Frank just pawed with the jab that day, AJ jabbed far better vs Wlad.

You saw the second fight, right? Only thing Bruno has on Femi is a superior jab, other than that he's slower, worse chin, worse tank, less punch output and 2" shorter.

Bruno`s jab was weak and he rarely followed up with the right in a 1-2 combo.

I just watched the first round of the Smith fight and Bruno only landed 3 jabs he didn`t follow any of the jabs with instant combo`s, he looked small and frail compared to Smith who didn`t even blink when Frank landed, Brono came in a straght line with no lateral movement.

Nobody is suggesting otherwise, the question was does Joshua beat Tyson around the time of Spinks (I'm assuming).

For me it's a huge No.

I'll tell you why, look in to your minds eye.. look at Joshua against a small stocky man, just happened.. Takam.

Now think of Tyson, quick hands, fast feet, crazy lateral movement, leaping in, hard punching, getting inside and hooking, left and rights, you really think Joshua survives that Tyson?

I wa thinking that when I saw the early parts of the highlights then AJ started countering which would help him vs Tyson but yes defo the lower level fighter getting under his punches was a problem and Tyson was the master at that.

You're face palming but I think misinterpreting my B rating. To me, A is the best there can be, we know for a fact that's not tyson. most champions are B to me, if you're not elite and truly one of the very best out there, you're a B.

I'm handicapping him too, since I grew up loving him and seen every second of him in the ring multiple times, I rate tyson from debut through prison. I throw post prison tyson away. He still has his ability somewhat but fought cause he had to.. The first holy fight was the total end of him.

The last little fight he has in him was beaten out from holy. Ya I get he kept going for some 12/20 w/e more fights but that wasn't really tyson..

    B in ring, name A+
Solid multi champ, what's not correct about that?

    Levels over Bruno!!!!

In this era, fighters don't fight, some want too, but are told NO.

They are told "NO" for a reason, they are then sidelined and suddenly offered a fight and say yes.

If this was for real, if Bruno offered Joshua the fight, AJ and his hairdryer would say no, because he may break a nail...

The only similarities i see, is the same as the past, two big men, one a national treasure, and the other a complete fraud, who if confronted with a real fighter would stih himself and blame the world for not getting the correct colour for his nail varnish.

Bruno Fought real men, real fighters, and lost to men who went on to have great fights....

Bruno did it the right way, he ****ing had fights, not this bull****.

This. Tyson is easily one of the most accomplished fighters in the history of boxing. Anybody calling Tyson a B level anything is crazy.
