Yesterday was the 27 anniversary of Tyson Douglas, and i decided to watch the fight, after i was done watching fight, i checked out the scorecards and to my suprise the scorecards were 87-86 for Tyson, 86-86 and 88-83 for Doulgas. Douglas probably would have been robbed because Tyson was scheduled to face Evander Holyfield
robberies and faverable scoring for the big(ger) names and home fighters isn't a thing of the last decade, it has always been this bad. Only nowadays there's the internet and forums and such where these things are discussed and frowned upon. With the exception of the annoying "do you think you know better as the professioanal judges?" crowd, when it's in favor of the guy they wanted to win. Douglas was indeed heading toward a robbery decision. Glad it didn't go the distance.
Judge: Larry Rozadilla Tyson 82-88 Douglas Judge: Ken Morita Tyson 87-86 Douglas Judge: Masakazu Tyson Uchida 86-86 Douglas Thats the actual info in boxrec.
It was the perfect scenario for robbery , no one would use the home advantage cause it's in Japan so basicly the judges would be considered as "neutral"
Fair play, I thought after the Vitali fight he may have become a player in the division, shame he never did as he had all the physical attributes to.
