Mike Tyson ended his legacy with 2 defeats against mediocre contenders. I believe he deserves a better end to his career, and should make a comeback to end his career with a win (against a bum). Danny Williams seems an interesting option. Williams is currently shot to ****, at the age of 41, but he KO'd Tyson in 2004 and I believe that fight could be interesting for both. Financially wise, I don't have a doubt that they will sell 10.000 tickets for this fight. Even the new generation of boxing fans would like to see Tyson to fight one more time. Danny Williams is not that old, is a former world title contender and as I said before he managed to KO Tyson before, so Iron could take revenge now in his final fight. Both men will make a decent amount of cash. What do you guys think about this match-up? I don't see any disadvantages. Tyson KO2.
I think he would lose again, Williams was the wrong sort of fighter for a well past his best Tyson. If Mike did make a comeback, there are easier opponents where just as much money could be made. How about him fighting Leon Spinks? Now that would be a better draw.
A fighter who no longer wants to fight, should never get back in the ring. It is a recipe for disaster.
Spinks is like 61 or something. Maybe Razor Ruddock :yep But seriously, Danny Williams is really really shot. He lost to a 5-40 guy recently.
Tyson has kept himself in great shape, Williams is just so shot physically... Tyson would win easily.
Williams is 4-16 in his last 20 fights or 7-19 since the last time he's beaten anyone with a pulse. And when I say pulse it was only John McDermott and even that was on a SD. Williams is so shot these days that literally half the members of this forum would stand a decent chance of beating him.
