He's not stopping Tua and would be getting hit harder than he was dishing out. Tua catches up with him and knocks him out.
Tua is too slow and too hittable. If Tua thought Felix Savon hit hard at 200 pounds, wait until he got hit by Tyson's explosive power. Tyson by KO.
Yet he was hit by a bigger puncher in Lewis and didn't go anywhere.... If Tyson thought Holyfield hit hard he might as well book his own funeral for Tua.
Holy had the speed and timing and clinching ability. Tua didn't have that. Lewis hit hard, but he fought very cautiously and on the back foot. Tyson would be in his face. Also, after Lewis nailed Tua a few good ones, if you notice, David didn't exactly come after him with all that much ferocity or consistency. He moved slowly forward and basically allowed himself to be outboxed without going for broke.
Prime Tyson would overwhelm Tua. I'll give Tua the benefit of the doubt since he was never stopped that he sees the final bell but quite simply tyson is too fast and to skilled. He would rip Tua with blistering combinations. This is 86-90 Tyson.
This is one of my all time best fantasy match ups. Wow, I don't care who would win this, it would be a war for however long it lasted. Tyson would score first and depending on how Tua could take it, that would be the way the fight goes. But who cares, even if it was a 1 rd fight I always dreamed of this fight on paper. Tua was not a ATG but he was a real beast in his prime. He could take a huge shot and he hit like a small truck.
tua couldnt ko ibeabuchi in his prime .....tyson would stop ibeabuchi in 2 or 3 rds in tysons prime ....but the question was prime tua vs tyson ...tyson stops tua ...in fact tyson opponent razor ruddock from june 28 / 91 would ko david tua :deal
