All you spout is typical moronic hater bull**** and you expect me not to correctly label you a ******?! Tyson was shot-to-**** and badly gassed early in the Lewis fight, yet you claim that Tyson feared Lennox's power, despite the fact that he continued to bravely charge forward in vain, while Tua fought very tentatively against Lewis, making no effort to win. You also bring up the common fallacy that he's scared of anybody not backing down...Ruddock (x2), Tubbs, Berbick, Ribalta, Bruno ('89) to name a few - showed no fear, but do you think Tyson was fearful of them? Have you seen how Tua waited in his turtle shell defense for the first 5 rounds in response to Ike's bombardment? But you believe that even though Tyson brings more aggression and better combinations, Tua will stop Tyson in 6 rounds or less, rather than hide behind his guard? I'll tell you this, that turtle shell would be suicide against Tyson as he picks his devastating shots. It's funny how you accuse Tyson of having a weak chin becuase he got stopped by Douglas when completely gassed, Ali was even less of a puncher and he stopped a gassed Foreman, same concept yet you correctly labeled Foreman as having a great chin. Oh and watch Tyson-Ruddock I & II again, Razor stood up to Tyson both times and presented a tough fight as both ate huge bombs all night. Yes Tua's left is better than either of Ruddock's, but both of Razor's hands are more powerful than Tua's right, thus it probably about equals out...Tyson took his best power punches on the chin for 19 brutal rounds.
Douglas never even knocked down a top 10 ranked opponent. I sure didn't see Tua hitting the deck and he was outboxed by lots of similar caliber opponents during his off rounds. Hell, he was outboxed during his on rounds. Like yourself, I think there is a big difference in chins in this match. Not small, big. One guy has proven he can hang in there and take a licking for 12 rounds. It's the opponent that can't. The guy with all those koby results in this match.
Here is an older one, I wonder if anyones opinions has changed?? It shouldn't, that was no where near a prime Tua last night..
That's not what the Tuamen have been shovlilng..HE CAN'T BE HURT, HE JUST NEEDS BETTER MANAGEMENT, HE NEEDS TO BE MOTIVATED, AND HE CAN BEAT ANYBODY. Was Barret prime? Solis blasted him out in 2 rounds. Haye and Valuev knocked him out for crying out loud. They said Tua looked fit and game, Friday was suppose to be a tougher test than Barrett.
In Tua's defense he got 13% of the votes, not an awful lot. Marciano got 30% of the votes against Tyson, which is a more ridiculous percentage.
Good. I'm glad people are seeing tua for what he is..A dangerous GOOD fighter. Not a great fighter. Tyson is an ATG fighter. So is Marciano.
If David Tua connects with anything weighing 190 pounds, its dead. Lets be real, Marciano is no Pernel Whittaker..he is going to be hit by David Tua. It it would not be a pretty sight...
:roll::roll::roll: The site that would not be pretty is Tua 12 rounds later..after Marciano and Frazier skillfully beat up, outworked, outfought tua on the inside the entire fight. If Marciano lands flush with that right, Tua is going down. Same with Frazier's hook.
Does a 190 pound Rocky Marciano punch harder than 244 pound ike ibeabuchi..? Lets be real..... NO..! David Tua is not going anywhere when Marciano hits him, are you for real..? you think a 190pound Rocky Marciano is going to take out David Tua with one punch. Why..? because he went 49 - 0..? Oh Rocky Marciano is going to outwork David Tua..? How Many punches where thrown in the David Tua vs Ike Ibeabuchi fight..? Be real with yourself, deep down you know I'm right. David Tua would Terminate Rocky Marciano. I'm not saying Rocky Maricano wasn't a great fighter in HIS ERA, but in 1990's....its a whole different ball game.
