Tyson was harder to hit than Morrison but D`Amato told Tyson once while studying Frazier being destroyed by Foreman that it was suicide for a shorter armed to come forward against George and I agree but Tyson was dreadful v Bruno in `89 and George`s chin was a lot better than Williams was in his one round blow out, I don`t know if Foreman would win but he would of had a Bruno moment like when Frank hurt Tyson with a hook and couldn`t finish well, if George got Tyson in that kind of trouble he would have put him away, so I pick Foreman at that stage of Tyson`s decline, I`d pay thousands to see both men go at it in their prime though!
Tyson’s decline? Lol foreman was the one in decline! Tyson was in his prime..He destroyed Alex Stewart in 1 round whom left foreman a bloody mess after 10 rounds. Foreman would get destroyed just like Holmes. Holmes had a great chin but it didn’t matter! Tyson’s far superior handspeed would land shots, and foreman could not take Tyson best without his face turning into a meat grinder . No old fighter could ever beat a prime Tyson
Hahaha guys the best that you can do is ignore this thread, this guy kid is mad because got humiliated on another thread so he wanted his rematch lmao
Hahahah you are pathetic You ask for a fantasy match with the clear intention for everybody picking tyson and when you got a different answer you got mad.then why do you ask? Lol
We all know you love 90s foreman. He’s probably the most overrated fighter of all time...Tyson would have knocked him out cold
Tyson did not have even the balls to enter in a ring with him it said all you need to know. Foreman stops tyson, it was 1989 tyson. This content is protected It was 1989.foreman This content is protected Don't cry too much
It's a shame that Foreman ducked Tyson; he just kept finding an excuse not to make the fight. As for a fight in 1989? Tyson by KO.
Maybe Foreman should have proven he could knock out genuine top 10 contenders like tubbs Thomas or Bruno...then maybe he would have EARNED a right to face Tyson...foreman beating up on 20 tomato cans like washed up qawi muhammad, washed up cooney, and glass chin Bert Cooper doesn’t show very much This content is protected This content is protected Such a difference right there with Stewart
Old Foreman is too strong for Tyson. He ate Morrison's and Cooper's punches like nothing, and had them scared. He could take Tyson's punches, bully him in the clinch, discourage him. And stop him late.
1. Foreman lost to Morrison not a great example. Tyson would have knocked Cooper and Morrison in 1 round 2. Tyson knocked out old Holmes who had an equal chin to foreman. The speed difference here between Tyson and foreman would be staggering 3. Tyson doesn’t need to Knock out foreman. He can outpoint him easily 4. Common opponent Alex Stewart. He took the fight to foreman and mashed in foreman’s face..nearly won the fight. Tyson wrecked him in 1. Foreman’s slow telegraph loops would be lucky to land all night vs Tyson. Foreman never fought a puncher on the level of a prime Tyson. Never fought a finisher on the level of a Tyson. Never fought anyone with handspeed like Tyson. Tyson would land and land often.
Both Cooper and Morrison were devastating punchers and Foreman took their punches like nothing. Cooper had a great chin and toughness but ran back to the locker room when he felt Foreman's power and strength. Foreman was way stronger and powerful with a better chin than old Holmes.
Foreman lost to Morrison...so I can’t see how that helps your argument. You are comparing Bert Cooper to mike Tyson...a prime mike Tyson? My goodness...Tyson was on a different planet power skill and speed wise!
No one knocked out Larry Holmes ever...except mike Tyson and he made it look easy. Foreman fought some big hitters but never who had the speed and finishing ability of a Tyson.. Tyson would take him out of there just like he did to Holmes
