Even Tyson's trainer, the great Cus D'Amato said that no swarming fighter could have lived with big George. Tyson came forward bobbing and weaving, and got in close to land big punches, sound familiar to Joe Frazier? Tyson had faster hands and more power than Frazier but they both were come forward, slug it out fighters and every man that ever slugged it out with Foreman got knocked out. Look at the first Frazier fight, Joe had never been beaten but was floored six times in two rounds. I think that Mike wouldn't be able to get inside of George's reach without taking some hard punches, and if he did connect Foreman had a great chin, even in his 40's he went 12 rounds with the same Holyfield that knocked out Tyson. Big George by KO in four rounds.
If that fight wasn't stopped, Holyfield would have knocked Tyson out. The referee saved Tyson from further damage.
Watch the fight again, Tyson was huffing and puffing from round 4 onwards, Holyfield himself admitted this in an interview he did for this very site a few years back.
You need to watch the fight again because you know **** all! Holyfield had Tyson hurt as early as the 2nd round and destroyed him in the 10th and 11th round with PUNCHES...
What's you point again ? Holyfield didn't cause the stoppage by beating the f---ing sh!t out of Tyson ?
Listen this man doesn't have a clue about boxing at all, he's just a re****ed Tyson nuthugger who probably never heard of Joe Louis until he came on to this forum.
We all know how Unforgiven feels about Tyson. I believe what Azzer is saying is that Tyson wasn't able to go the distance and be productive. Holyfield had a lot to do with that, but even Holyfield was sucking air in that 10th round. Both were exhausted. But then Holy dropped the boom on a Tyson who wasn't adequate at going the distance.
So basically Holyfield closed the show with some punches that had Tyson out on his feet, what's your answer for Holyfield hurting Tyson as early as the second round????
