We all know about Sangria's feelings for Tyson.

Yes. We all saw Tyson couldn't go the distance with Holyfield. That's indisputable.

Azzer seemed to imply that Holyfield's punches and the sustained beating his dished out were only a secondary factor.

I might be mistaken. He can clarify.

My feelings for Tyson? Probably the same feelings you have for the 50's or 60's, or whenever the hell you thought you were cool.

Tyson's mentality and preparation for Holyfield probably weren't where they needed to be going into the fight. His fault, of course. We'll see what Azzer has to say.

Not sure why you wanted to make it personal. I will respond tit-for-tat just to be "polite" though.:good
I can agree it's better to just stick to the facts.

    Or not.

the point im trying to make is, it was a TKO, Tyson wasn't throwing anything back which is why it was stopped and that was largely due to exhaustion. Obviously Holyfield played his part too.

In a recent interview Holyfield claimed he won the fight largely due to conditioning.

Well, of course it must be exhausting getting hit in the head for 10 rounds, yes. And there was plenty of wrestling too. No doubt they were both tired.

Tyson was out on his feet. Had little cartoon birds flying round his head.

Of course. No one ever won a fight in round 11 without conditioning being a large factor.

Holyfield hit Mike here with some serious power. That right hand near end of round 10 that had Tyson reeling into the ropes, that was a huge punch.

Bull****, Tyson was out on his feet from the 10th round when Holyfield caught him with a right to the temple, he also had Tyson hurt with the same shot in the 2nd round, face it Holyfield was a better fighter end of!

Well then pat yourself on the back for being "polite". :good And most if not all my posts are factual based, without an agenda.

Both Tyson and Holyfield looked spent near the end of the fight. Holyfield was being pushed by Brooks before the 10th and even needed a bit of a pep talk to ignite some fire.

Fact: Tyson went into the Holyfield fight overconfident. Fact: Holyfield went into the Tyson fight with something to prove. Fact: This happens fairly often in boxing. Facts: Holyfield kicked Tyson's ass because a.) He had a better game plan, and b.) Was better prepared to fight a tough, grueling fight over the course of 12 rounds.

    Just the facts mang!

Fact: you're ****ing assuming he went in overconfident.
Fact: both fighters went in with something to prove.
    Fact: Holyfield was older
Fact: Holyfield was a worn torn veteran.
Fact: Holyfield kicked Tyson's ass because he was a better fighter.
    Fact: you're a Tyson nuthugger.

    Fact: You're a virgin.
    Fact: You're an idiot.
Fact: You spend way too much time on ESB.
Fact: You're overcompensating for being hung like a light switch.
Fact: You live in a house that has wheels.
Fact: You're probably a fat chick with small tits.

I'll take your word for it.
You opened your post with "We all know how unforgiven feels about Tyson" ... which sets out your agenda, or at the very least it was an ad hominem attempt to taint or discredit the argument before addressing the points.
Not sure why you felt it necessary, because your actual points are sensible enough.

    Maybe. SELECTED FACTS.
You've selected a few facts to suit your agenda. :good
