Foreman was much too slow at that point. Foreman vs Tyson is always going to be a battle between slow power and fast power, and it'd be interesting in a hypothetical matchup with 70s Foreman, but by his second career too slow. Look at how any times he was hit by Evander.

Yeah, the ref would stop it if Foreman crossed his arms and took a six punch combo to the head like he did against Evander.

This reminds me a lot of the Frazier - Quarry fight, where Joe was told to adopt a purely boxing style of fight against Jerry rather than his typical style of coming out Smokin'. Tyson would have to do something similar to avoid getting knocked out (Not saying that Quarry would've knocked out Frazier, the comparison stops before this).

I still think that Mike was the baddest man on the planet in 1991, I would've taken him over Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis, or otherwise without a second thought, but George would end up giving him the most trouble at this point.

Think he means look what happened when foreman faced a banger back then.
He barely got a decision and ended up battered.

It's possible, not probable. Tyson is going to climb off the canvas 3 times and then switch gears and stick and move on Foreman?
That is what Stewart did that night. Alex gave Holyfield a good tussle as well.

Was Tyson throwing alot of 6 punch combinations? That was one of the things he stopped doing around '89.
He would get worn down by Foreman's big jab, his physicality, being forced backwards isn't something he would handle mentally. Then to be smothered by by Foreman.

Tyson might not be able to reach George's ears but his nipples would be in jeopardy. Dairy Queen would have to sponsor this one cause Tyson is going to DQ.

He threw them but was more squared up and didn’t move his head as much. He wasn’t really a one shot guy until Botha.

Watch the ending of the first Ruddock fight. (Ruddock was better and more dangerous than Foreman when that fight happened.)

This is like, your 4th attempt to get a reaction out of me mentioning this. It's becoming an obsession.

You're attempting to use logic and context with a person who changes his criteria constantly, cherry picks facts, and won't budge even with 30+ people telling him he's not making sense.

AND has a long, storied vendetta against Foreman. I remember arguing with him about stuff like this back in the early months of my original account.

    Look no further.

I don't have a vendetta against Foreman. Even bought his grill. I think he was a great fighter, however, I don't think he was an invincible juggernaut against anyone not named Muhammad Ali.

Funnily enough, you made me realize they weren't even talking about NoNeck. Lol

I think the real question is, do you have the Lamotta Lawnchair?
