I don't think that Tyson has enough at this point to beat him, and Toney was hot right here. I believe his defense would be too much for Tyson to handle at this point of his career.

Mike was more circus act in 2003, and didn't have the Heart for a long hard frustrating fight, which Toney would give him..

I think Mike get's DQ'D, ., very bad match up for Tyson at this stage of his career..

    James wins....

Toney was on the up at this time and Tyson was was on a downward slide. I think Toney chews him up and embarrasses Tyson. Tyson at this stage in his career would be made to order for Toney.

Toney would probably beat him like he did Holyfield because he would come in shape.

Tyson could still possibly knock Toney spark out if Toney gets too cute. Smart money would be on Toney though.

I remember watching an interview with Toney when he was still a Cruiser saying he wanted to go to Heavy and fight Tyson. The guy asked him how he thought he could win. He replied " Easy, hit the mother f***er back, he don't like that. "

In fairness it is a good attitude to take into a fight with Tyson.

Could and would are two different matters, you could possibly knock my Great Grandmother out but with your power that would be highly unlikely...

Just goes to show how grossly overrated Tyson is when the smart money would be on a fat pumped up Middleweight who was about as conditioned as an elephant, not to mention he'd had more fights than Tyson at that time and was just as old and showing signs of being punchy...

Tyson was about 15 years past his prime in 2003, though. it's not really a case of him being overrated but rather Toney just having more in the tank.

I think we all know 1988 Tyson would annihilate 2003 Toney.

Well if Tyson was 15 years past his prime then what the **** was Toney??? He was already a mumbling lard **** in 2003, it just happens that he was a better all time fighter than Tyson.

Like I said Toney wasn't as shopworn and past prime as Tyson was in 2003. That's all there is to it. Everybody knows Tyson had an extremely short prime and Toney was always going to have more longevity because of the contrast of their styles.

no need to sh¡t on Tyson and call him overrated because people think that he would lose to Toney in 2003

Well done. You are the ten millionth Tyson fan boy to claim his " prime " was when he was knocking over junkies, alcoholics, old men, or C class fighters. Unfortunately Toney wouldn't have fallen into one of these categories until fairly late in his own career.

Toney wasn't as shopworn?? You kidding me?? Go listen to his speech in 2003. So basically you're saying Toney as well as his style is better alround than Tyson and his peekaboo style??
