Well if you use the Ruddock fights as a guideline, it doesn't look good for Mike. When Lewis is truly worried about a fighter he fights ultra-aggessive right from the opening bell.
This is a mismatch. Lewis would always win due his superior skills, speed, and physical presence. I also feel that Lewis was a more dangerous fighter back in 1992. He was not so much of a safety fighter, and had awesome speed and reflexes, he was not as bulky and could evade shots quite easily. He was fighting at his most comfortable weight. 230 pounds.
I think this would come down to who's chin could take more, and I think Tyson always had the superior chin and while Lewis would probably land some bombs, Tyson would absorb them and land his own, which I don't think Lewis would be able to take.
Tyson and Lewis sparred once when they were both in their primes and I guess it was rather uneventful.
I am a big fan of Lewis, still I think he would lose this one. Back in 92 he was more raw, compared to 98-01 when he was prime. That version of Lewis would beat a 92 version of tyson, but it would be a hell of a fight, we all know tyson was close to shot when they fought in 02....
That's a bit optimistic. You must have slept through peak Tyson 86 - 90 No man would be 10/10 against that beast.
You have no clue what you're talking about. "has no chance" even pre- Steward Lewis would've been a handfull for anyone in the history of the sport. Dumbass.:rofl
