Who did prime mike Tyson beat? Terrified Spinks and ancient Larry Holmes?
Tucker and ****ing Bonecrusher Smith went 12 rounds with him.

Tucker would easily beat anyone usyk has fought including Aj

Old Holmes is much better than washed up Bellew and old Chisora

Mike Tyson is literally the worst possible opponent Usyk could ever face.

Tyson is quicker and has insane power, and I don't see Usyk dodging him.

Tyson will be straight at him and will probably KO in 3.

Lol yes Tucker would easily beat AJ, Briedis and Bellew. Strange that every time he fought the top 5 of his day he lost, isn't it? What's his record vs the top 10? 3-7? Kind of like Chisora if Chisora chose to pad his record.

Judging by the Chisora fight, Mike by early KO.

It was a much better era
Actually watch Tucker and Compare him to the like of chisora

    Bruno would better Delboy
Old Holmes would easily outbox him

Usyk has only fought a tentative Aj at Hw who himself is no great fighter

The best of a bad bunch is Fury

I don't think there's a real way to know what era is the best. Maybe we could ask the Kirk's League winners to predict fights for us.

Otherwise, physical attributes of the contenders/champions seem to be an indicator, as historically #1s have tended to be taller than their average contemporary.

Anybody can either be underrated or overrated.

When it comes to Mike, you get the two form of extremes.

Yes, Mike had never seen anyone with Usyk’s skill set, but then Usyk has never seen anyone like Mike.

You need to look more at how they’d have matched up, rather than who you think was the better overall fighter.

Usyk had nothing to stop Mike from relentlessly pursuing him.

Why would Mike have gassed mid rounds?

Mike gassed in Tokyo early, as he didn’t train.

He didn’t gas against Ruddock though, in 2 fast pace fights, where at times they went to war.

Usyk hasn’t got the power to break him down like Evander did, and the version of Mike who fought Evander was a faded version of him.

Mike would have to be favoured here based upon styles.

If Mike never beat a prime top level opponent, then neither has Usyk.

    Slick school?

    Usyk would be backed up.

He hasn’t got the jab or the power to have backed Mike up.

Mike would have gone at him relentlessly.

The fights against Evander have no bearing on this match up.

An ancient Larry Holmes who years later pushed a peak Evander and who beat Ray Mercer.

Larry was faded, but far from shot.

Mike was the only guy to ever knock him out in a 75 fight career, that spanned 20 years.

Tony Tucker was a good fighter.

Using your logic, who has Usyk beaten at HW??

    An old, faded Chisora?

AJ, after being bulldozed by an obese B level HW?

How about looking at the stylistic match up.

How would Usyk have kept a prime version of Mike at bay?

Bro you were starting to become a decent poster at one point, now you are back to your usual self and the trolling.

Anyone with basic knowledge in fighting should know that i did good against X fighter, and did bad against Y fighter, so i will win or lose against this or that, not working in Boxing/Fighting.

And that if AJ nails Usyk, so surely Tyson would, and all that kind of bla, bla, bla. AJ is getting extremely underrated on here. He is a elite level fighter that, and guess your ***** right.

AJ is 198cm, and has a reach of 208cm, do you realize that Tyson is 178 with a reach of 180 ????? You realize that Usyk is 191cm and with a reach of 198cm and will looks like a giant against Tyson ????
Do you even realize that Usyk will have all the physical advantage with height and reach, and he won't need to pass the jab and to eat counters trying to get into range, and Tyson would be that guy ????

Also it's fun that some people on here pick Usyk worsts matches(still won clearly and by significant margin), and compare his worst version against best version of Tyson ...
Really idiotic, but what to expect from people with 2 brain cells that are biased as hell.

I got no problem with people picking Tyson to win or X or Y guy, but when you compare fantasy fight, pick both fighters at their best, not picking their worst.

And for million time Usyk was struggling with injury and has his issues against Chisora and on top of that he undergo surgery to his hand before the fight, and his camp was canceled 2-3 times because of all the problems he had.

He was 30% in that fight, Chisora was lowballing, hitting behind the head, holding and hitting, and put all the dirty tactics in there and still lost by UD clearly !!!

I agree, except Tucker was (perhaps) a brilliant HW.
How would prime tucker fared against Holmes or Lewis?
He hung in with Lewis when he was obviously done.
