Yeah but tysons mind was gone. At this point he would have found a way to quit in a tough fight, i dont believe he had a war in him. Dont forget he fouled orlin norris and frans botha that year and was coming off getting DQ against holyfield
Botha, Savarese, and Golata were fighters Tyson beat between Holyfield and Lewis who were pretty good. (golata is an NC but not to relevant for assessing Tyson in this timeframe). RR by comparison was almost a decade past his best.
True but Tyson was facing way better competition than Ruddock and Ruddock was wasn't looking good against unknown journeyman.
