Agreed, but I see Mike being too fast. But that jab would be vital to Listons success against Tyson. I think Tysons ehad movement is equal to it and he cuts in from mid-range with a looping left.
How could Tyson deal with the amazing Ron Lyle ? : [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9-7Qrr759o[/ame]
A nortorously slow starter against one of the fastest starters in HW History? I give Lyle 2 rounds before folding.
I know what you mean Unforgiven, Lyle is super duper overrated by certain people in this topic. :deal
The legend Lyle gets KO'd. I think his history shows that he would have atleast put up a fight before going down though. Even Berbick got in a few blows, and that was a true blow-out.
tyson was no were near his prime hear.........heavy / mid 30s/ cocaine/....................put on tyson/berbick/thomas/ruddock 1 and 2..............
Lyle was 35 years old against Foreman. Not that I disagree about Tyson being completely shot against Danny Williams.
pre prison tyson rapes lyle in the ring...then knocks him out. post prison tyson knocks him out...then feasts on him
The age is irrelevant in this situation. That beyond shot-to-**** Tyson was a freaking zombie corpse with an torn meniscus.
Tyson was 38 by then anyway. However, Tyson does tend to get excused for his losses post-prison when the likes of Louis and Ali also lost years off their prime, and in the case of Ron Lyle he spent his whole youth in jail until debuting at 30 years of age. That Lyle made it to a world title at all speaks of his determination and physical ability, but he's not beating a man who was a phenom at 20. Except I'd give him a decent shot at the "post-prison" Tyson.
This is an absolute demolition. Lyle was glacial and did not have good footwork. He was more or less a poor man's Trevor Berbick... so just connect the dots on this one.
Berbick couldn't even throw a punch right. This is just terrible stuff from him even though he landed a couple: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJOZPzmIJ2w[/ame] 1:10
