Sandra I may be wrong but I'm sure old pensioner Foreman ate up Holyfield's bombs all night whilst a certain Tyson was stopped after doing the best drunkard impression I've ever seen in my life. Foreman took bombs for fun off ****ey whilst Tyson was turned into a baby looking for its dummy against feather fisted Douglas....
James smith hardly did nothing but clinching in survivor mode, stewart hardly did put a glove on tyson in 1 round, tucker a puncher ? Give me a break... dont use his tko stoppages like real kos.pinklon Thomas the same thing.Bruno was the first puncher who did hit tyson clean and did stun him. Of course that frazier, chuvalo and norton did hit the chin of george, foreman even compared the effect of the left hook of frazier with ****ey's Foreman had better chin than tyson sandra. Its not even a debate
But it is a debate. You can present alternative opinions. Tyson only ever went down from the accumulation of blows. He took shellackings off Ruddock and Lewis, eating big bombs. Young Foreman was staggered by Ali by right leads long before exhaustion took hold. While Ali was fighting off the ropes. The evidence of that paragraph would suggest that Tyson had the better chin. It's not conclusive proof but does suggest that there is a debate to be had.
Ali was shot to pieces and Foreman was reckless and unskilled. Lyle is still slow and unskilled, every agrees except for you, maybe Lyle was your granddaddy,if so I apologise. He did well with the little experience he had as a late starter but was never elite. Hats off to him but he isn't going to trouble the best.
No. It is not a debate.. The shots of ali early when george was not tired had no effect over him. Tyson got stopped 5/6 of his defeats and he was going to get stooped in the rematch with holyfield again. Holyfield was not a puncher, douglas was not a puncher,Danny williams was not a puncher. Foreman was stopped just once by the greatest when he was gassed. Tyson got stopped in practically all his defeats. Not a debate
Yes a debate! Debate so much, yes, such much yes. Your ass keeps handing to you in debate so hard is not fun for you I might take it??? Yar Yar Yar. Tyson is the father of Lyle and his daddy so much. Foreman is brother of Lyle, so that make Tyson that grand papi de Foreman y Lyle. Yo soy El Nino!!!
Lyle batted 0 for the 70's. One win over Shavers and losses to ...everyone else. The guy is a tough task no doubt but you'll need more than toughness and power to beat Iron Mike.
Finally you admite that he would not be an easy víctim.i pick tyson 88 by ko in 5 ( because lyle would trade and would fight without fear to win, not surviving like a ***** joke)but tyson would get stunned and probably seriously hurt in the process
They certainly did have an effect on Foreman. Early in round 5 Foreman is badly staggered being the most obvious case. Ali's punches never had this effect on the likes of Patterson or Norton, men not renowned for their chins. And you say Holyfield wasn't a puncher but earlier in this thread cite Foreman's absorption of his punches as evidence of Foreman's great chin. Tyson's kayo losses all came following prolonged one-sided beatings. if you give Foreman a pass for being gassed, you have to cut Tyson similar slack. And Lyle had Foreman in terrible trouble despite never repeating the trick on any other top heavy, excluding Shavers who was never the most durable. I'm not saying one chin was better than the other but a case can be made either way and, therefore, there is a debate to be had. Which is the point of this forum, surely.
i wouldnt say tony tucker couldnt crack cause he could in fact foreman chose to fight axel shultz and give up the wba belt and seldon/tucker fought for it / tucker could crack
Tyson destroys Lyle. The term here isn't "easy" work. Nothing is easy. It's called destruction by design. Technical prowess. Tyson engineered some tremendous beat downs against really good fighters. Lyle would be one of them.
