There are a great difference between a predator trying to hunt another predator and hunting a harmless victim
The answer to that question would be the " the best available" at the time of his reign. Same as any other champion who was ever called an ATG.. He flattened an entire division in just three years.
He didn't though did he? He got flattened himself if I'm not mistaken but I know what you mean. Still most his opponents weren't at their best when he fought them.
Wass, you continue to be as ignorant (both in knowledge and ****ysis) as you are annoying. Bring a reasonable insight to the discussion or go away.
Tyson beat better fighters than Lyle, you better bring more than a right hand, a mean stare and an afro to beat Mike Tyson
No he did not. A prime lyle stylistically was much more dangerous for him than any guy that tyson did beat in his prime. Plus lyle was a 2 handed puncher not just a right hand
And most other great champions went on to redeem themselves by beating their conquerors in a rematch.
Some of them did and some of them didn't.. The ones who did generally only beat "one" of their conquerors and in every case were given an opportunity to do so through getting a rematch. Tyson and Douglas never crossed paths again due to the circumstances of their careers. The rest beat him when he was past it, though I'll give Holyfield credit as he was past it as well. It should also be noted that while some champions avenged their own defeats, there resumes weren't necessarily better.. Sure Floyd Patterson redeemed himself against Ingo but would you rate him higher than Tyson?
