I will take Roy to win a comfortable decision in this one. He is the better natural athlete, and has the better stamina. Mike will be blowing out of his arse after 3 rounds.
Crazy this fight is happening even if it's just an exhibition. I don't think there's a huge difference in size like there would of been in the 90's, Tyson looks smaller then he was and RJJ is bigger than he was. I'm favouring Tyson. RJJ's chin is a liability, he isn't the elusive slick fighter he once was and Tyson while shot himself will no doubt just look to overwhelm Roy. You have to be able to manhandle Tyson, tie him up, push him off, keep him off balance because it's hard to keep him on the outside and RJJ doesn't fight like that. Unless Tyson is unable to pull the trigger I don't see this version of RJJ being able to keep Tyson subdued and confused like so many RJJ opponents in his prime. Tyson probably stops him if he goes for the KO, which he might not with it just being an exhibition. Either way I expect Tyson to come out on top.
Hopefully the same thing that happened to the Benn vs bika fight happens and the fight doesn’t go ahead
I'll say this for nothing... While Jones has been an absolute shell for years now... He has still been fighting Tyson as good as he looks on training videos hasn't and last time I saw him was about twenty years ago getting spannered by Danny mcbride.... Expect Roy to win having said that with his bird egg chin.. Who knows
We have ended up in the weirdest timeline imaginable. Won't even be surprised anymore if we get weirdo Kanye West in the White House come January.
I agree. I think the fact Roy stayed boxing will give him a big enough advantage. The bigger gloves and headguards may help him more as well. Coronavirus - riots too, Shootings and crime aplenty, I just can't get enough of this, Wild ride called Twenty Twenty, Mike Tyson exhumed from the dead, Jones Jr dug up as well, Will either see the final round, Of this new boxing hell, Truly the year that's got it all, This year has been the best, How better then to cap it off, By electing Kanye West,
lol! Tyson was a far better heavyweight than Roy he would have destroyed Ruiz who would have landed even less shots on Mike than he landed on Roy, Jones didn`t prove he was a top heavyweight and never proved he could beat all the people Mike beat, Jones was not an elite heavyweight at all.
Strongly suspect this fight doesnt happen. One thing for internet fanboys to say how good Mike is looking and another for them to spend their own cash on a PPV for an exhibition with head guards on. Don’t be surprised if a month out the promoters realise they are on to a loss and pull the carpet.
A dream fight? You mean in the mid 90`s right? prime Tyson destroys any fighter comming up from a lighter weight except Usyk or Holy, I add Usyk because he is far bigger than Roy and would have beaten him at cruiser or heavyweight.
Roy will be able to toy with Tyson, 8 rounds is 6 or 7 [probably 8] rounds too many for a 54-yr old, 15 yrs retired, Mike. A fairly interesting fight would have been peak Jones [mid to late 90s] vs a slightly off-peak but still active Tyson [say a couple of years after the Holyfield fights].
That would be nice thing since immigants from Africa who came to my country and Greece which is only country with us who protects the whole Europe from them! They ****,steal and beat us even knowing Serbia never had any connections with africa slavery not Greece even! Just England,France,Netherland,Germany,Spain...but south and eastern europe didn't bur why they attack and hate us?
Is Tyson actually sparring or just relying on pads and mitt work (and PEDs) to turn back the clock? If he isn't taking big shots and sharpening himself up we dont know how his punch resistance is. My guess is that one good punch these days could probably put his lights out. Same with Roy too
