First half of '86, Tim wins.
Second half of '86, Mike wins.

I always thought this was a tough fight for Mike, if Tim comes in motivated. But Tim was always inconsistent. He was big and he had a good chin and good right hand and was fast. If anyone had a chance to beat Mike in his prime it was Tim.

Well bonecrusher flattened spoon before the unification fight with Tyson. Had spoon beaten crusher it'd have been a 50/50 affair.

Knowing what I know though I'm gonna say mike knocks him out early.

Yeah I think Spoon keeps it tough for a few rounds like Pinklon Thomas did.

With hindsight, Tyson wins pretty easily. At the time I would of picked Witherspoon.

Tyson wins a close decision.I don't see him knocking Witherspoon out, much less hurting him, but he outworks him and stuns him occasionally enough to make a difference.

Whiterspoon doesn't have the right style. He gets knocked out in about 7 rounds.

    well he did

in 1985, Terrible Tim dominated Bonecrusher through 12

it was a terrible mismatch, I don't know what held Smith up

    your argument is void

I think a matchup between Tyson and Ray Mercer in their respective primes would be more interesting, not that Ray would win that one either.
