This vid shows how M.Tyson would have beaten the Fury that beat Wilder, I`ve said many times on this forum Mike was a master at getting by the jab but people point to his sluggish display v Buster`s jab, would a prime Mike gert past Fury`s jab and destroy him?

Give me any reason how Mike Tyson would beat Tyson Fury, just because he is the one and only 'Mike Tyson' that makes him invincible in fantasy matchups? If you take into consideration everything what they can both do and the physical advantages and disadvantages, you will see that Fury would push him around, he would get Mike on the back foot, and Mike cannot fight on the back foot being 5'10 and fighting a 6'9 opponent especially Fury, you just can't fight on the backfoot against someone like that and Mike could never fight on the backfoot anyway, but he would be forced backwards and he would not be able to do anything with the skillset that he has, that skillset that he has only works when on the front foot or when you're on the inside, the 4 round Mike would gas and either be stopped late or end up losing on points

You could be right about second Tyson but not about prime Mike. He had all.. power and impregnable defence.

    Golota is 6'4 and slow.
Fury is 6'7 ish, longer reach, faster.
Mike Tyson getting in on Tyson Fury and connecting meaningfully to the head is a different situation. He also doesn't have the one punch power of Wilder, so Tyson Fury could likely take quite a few shots.

The likely outcome is Fury respecting Tyson early and staying defensive. Keeping at range or tying up etc. When Tyson begins to lose steam, which he will, Fury will start to apply more pressure, grind him down. Once Tyson slows and the rapid head movement and footwork is gone, Fury will start to land power shots. Tyson will take a good load, but eventually succumb.

For years people called Fury a joke. Then by the end of the Wlad fight they had to admit Fury had defensive skills, engine. Then by the end of Wilder I, they had to admit he had excellent overall skills, engine, heart. Then by the end of Wilder II, they should admit he can also use his size and power when needed.

So at this point let's stop thinking a very small HW in Tyson, who was not invincible by any means, would magically just run through Fury.

This would depend so much on which version of referring to of each fighter.

For example if we assume this is the prime version of Mike Tyson only vs any version of Tyson Fury.

The Tyson Fury that turned up for the John McDermott fight or Otto Wallin would likely be stopped inside 6 rounds.

The version of Tyson Fury that ripped Deontay Wilder a new arsehole or beat Wlad would win a decision.

It really does depend on which version we are referring to here.

Prime for Prime, you give Tyson Fury an edge.

    "Prime" Fury vs "Prime" Tyson

Fury too big and too sexy

Breaks his back and stops him late. 100%.

"Not a man born from their mother 5'10" can beat me. you see you midget from catskills you are getting it"

Fury rises to the occasion in his biggest fights and makes them look easy. Mike faltered.

Fury isn't going to let his footwork let him down when Tyson slips past his jab like all them other men did.

Not sure why people still seem to have these pre-conceived notions that make Fury as a bit of a softy when he's a bad bad man. People treated Ali EXACTLY the same...

When all is said and done everyone will look back and think wow what a fighter Tyson Fury was and boy did he have to earn his respect.

People still really don't appreciate Fury's skill and what he can do, you think he's just some fat slob, did you not watch his Wilder fight and Klitschko fight?

Mike Tyson at this point is more proven.
Fury in his prime got floored many times by journeymen and got his face turned into a pizza by a low ranked Wallin.

I think Mike would have a field day with Fury’s soft mid section.

You're saying that Tyson would beat Fury if Fury prepared for, and fought like he was up against, a 2 meter long, technically flawed one hit wonder?

    I 100% agree with you.

Mike Tyson is overrated beyond belief.

Soft mid section? just because he had flab doesn't mean it's soft and exploitable. The weakness of the body is mostly genetic. Fury defends his body extremely well. Mike would have trouble getting to it.

Prime for prime, i would edge Iron Mike.

Fury is such a massive man, how could mike miss...

I would see Iron Mike setting a furious pace with his speed etc and possibly stopping the big guy in about nine rounds.
As good as TF is i just don't think he would be able to keep up with the pace Mike sets.
