Mike Tyson of the Trevor Berbick though Michal Spinks fights was a human wrecking ball, and I would argue that he would win.

The Tyson after this would lose.

Fury probably has the style to beat Tyson. His great chin would probably get him into the later rounds where he should probably easily be able to out box Tyson with his long reach and great endurance .

There is a big difference between 6'6" 210lbs American bean poles and 6'9" 270lbs of Gypsy man meat

He is 6'7 and is morbid obese
    Mike would smash him

I'm a fury fan as my posts will show, but enough is enough

He beat an old, uninterested Wlad who's style is suited to shorter opponents

    He bottled the rematch

He is being glorified for giving a beaten ang also going life and death twice with a modern Michael Grant

Fury is good, but he is seriously getting overrated. Wasn't that long ago he was climbing off the canvas and fighting dirty to beat Steve cunningham

Mike would seriously wreck him to the body and put his lights out for good

    6'7" lol
Mike never seriously wrecked anyone that was a high ranked contender, bigger, significantly taller and crucially not afraid of him.

If Mitch Green could hang with Mike, he has no chance of putting Fury away.

Fury is his kryptonite, and you are being ridiculous to think otherwise.

The morbidly obese gypsy by annihilation

Fury is too big, fast, and good at controlling distance, as Holyfield did with Mike Tyson. He’s also a very slick, fast, counterpuncher

I agree that M Tyson was overrated

Mike was obviously dominant, but in a pretty weak era.

Then comes the world level competition………., and Mike gets beaten, again and again,

There’s not anyone going to be Tyson Fury.

We have Dillian Whyte as a current world level fighter and had been a top contender for a number of years and we have had a multi year champion who literally only has a straight right hand, I don’t think anyone around now is in any position to say another era is weak.

The closest thing we have to a litmus test we have of how Mike would do against current 270+ lb Fury is his fight with McBride who was 270lbs when they fought. He took Mike's biggest shots to the body and head, he actually was effective keeping Mike close and on the inside by bullying him back and using uppercuts. The problem was that Mike was done by that time both mentally in physically, there were stretches where he'd stand in front of you, and the amazing footwork, shifts, and combos were gone.

Prime for prime I still pick Mike Tyson. Fury's best bet is to be 270lb+ and to use his reach and jab (Mike was the best slipping jabs though) then try to walk forward and push him to the ropes. Against prime Mike though that could be suicide when his speed, head movement, and body combos were brutal. A heavy Tyson Fury would also be a slower Fury and there's a lot of flabby body to get at. Tyson Fury is mentally strong and can also pick from a repertoire of styles so you'd never know, he could give Mike a lot of issues, a 6'9" man with skills and foot work is no joke. If Fury could survive into the 8-9th rounds, then it could get really interesting.
