As mentioned before, I think that it is too soon to compare WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury to matches against the past all time greats, it's time to settle down. His victory last Saturday, was quite an accomplishment and well deserved. But it was one big victory, he needs more bouts to make such assumptions against the past greats. I look forward to future matches against Anthony Joshua, perhaps the rematch against former champion, Deontay Wilder, and other top challengers. With more title defenses, we can view enough of his skills to fairly judge him. In all fairness, too soon to say. The past greats had to earn their reputations by participating in momentous bouts, they earned their stripes. Let's wait and see.

Which one of his points do you find laughable?

Har to say, but that two thirds so far have voted for Mike by KO is flattering for him. I hink there's after all reason to say that Fury is better than anyone Tyson beat, but let's wait a while. There could after all be a Ruiz in store for him too, just as there was a Douglas for Tyson.

Going by this forum it's Milke. There was a recent poll where the majority thought he belonged with Ali and Louis in terms of greatness. No other fighter period is that overrated imo.

The Tyson that fought Evander would lose against Fury and Wilder. Joshua has his chance too

His chin? His chin is more than proved. Wilder probably hits harder than Tyson, Mike was the better combination puncher and more accurate but the big problem is the HUGE size difference and added to this Fury knows how to use his reach and size advantage ,this would negate a lot of the final impact in the blows from Mike, i think that Tyson would start aggressive and explosive but he would get frustrated progressively

Mike Tyson fans...you gotta love ‘em.

The same guys scoffing at Joe Frazier’s chances against Deontay Wilder because he’s 8 inches shorter and 10 lbs lighter are saying Tyson blitzes Fury even though he’s 10 inches shorter and 50 pounds lighter. They’re such hypocrites pretending that Tyson is somehow immune from difficulties with much, much larger opponents, or that he just steamrolls a guy who is much, much larger than anyone their hero fought and an awkward, intelligent fighter who knows how to use his height and weight effectively to boot. Hypocrisy bordering on fanaticism.

Fury winning on points would be a value-for-money bet, in my opinion.

Could be right. I want to see his chin against different styles. Wilder to me wasn’t that good. I want to see him take Ruiz and AJ and I’ll be convinced he could beat a prime Tyson. Seen him get dropped and hurt by much lesser fighters then Tyson and so far he’s recovered well. I hold Fury high despite his lack of resume compared to others up on the list.

Lack of resume?? The version of the wladimir klitschko that fury did beat is a better single win than any one from prime Tyson. 1988 Holmes was not even comparable and spinks was a former lhw who was cherry picking rivals. Spinks was not a real hw champ to me.he did beat a past prime Holmes once yes, (the rematch Holmes was robbed to me) but his defences(rivals) were a joke, a tomato can and the drunk version of rusty cooney.
