    Am I supposed to be impressed? I see a tiny little "heavyweight" doing some light pad work compared to 6'7 265lb vitali klitschko and 6'4 david haye.

    Tyson was a joke

    :lol::lol::lol:Thanks for the laugh.

    But seriously....as to the OP....yeah Tyson was a beast, but back then, he wasn't putting that work in for a show. He probably thought at the time that no one would ever see it.

    The K2 vid is an EVENT. And David Haye is literally in slow motion. He's not letting his hands go. Neither was Wlad, although Wlads little combo at the end was lightning fast. :good

    Lol that's just not Wlad's style, he's tall so he fights tall. I might as well say the following

    "Look at Tyson's shitty pad work it that vid. He's way to close to the guy and not using his jab and reach NEARLY as good as Wlad does in fights. And people think Tyson was great??"

    Well there you have it everyone. The key to boxing awesomeness is how hard you want to hit the pads while being filmed. **** we may as well just call off the fights and do youtube comparisons of awesome padwork to find our champions. :patsch

    The Great thing I like about Tyson in the 80's when he was "ON", was that EVERY PART of his training was to be taken Seriously. Cus D'Amato's philosophy was that you MUST take everything you do seriously because it is to prepare you for the fight. Why waste your time just going through the motions. Actually, that was really just in Tyson's nature because even pre-D'amto, he took it seriously if it was going to get him somewhere.

    How many boxers do you see when Shadow Boxing just swing their arms in motion making it look like a warm-up. When Tyson did it back then the MFer was in a fight with his imaginary opponent(s)...as if he was rumbling a gang of people trying to jump him in the streets.

    A great quick story was told about how when he first started (pre-D'Amato) and locked up as a youth, and was being trained by Bobby Stewart; that he would practice in his cell at night, shadow-boxing, and it would wake up his cell-mates.

    That type of dedication was extreme and got him to the top.

    And when he lost it, he fell.

    Yeah but Mike Tyson was actually awesome that's why Mike Tyson is Mike Tyson and that's why people are excited about him and until today he is relevant because of the way he fought. KNOCKING MFUKKERS OUT and eventhough he had his ups and downs and he isn't perfect.

    And there is 1 thing that Tyson had that the Klitschko brothers or Haye will never have and that is respect. I'm not talking about respect because Tyson is a nice guy and you will respect him as a role model and it's not that kind of respect. It's the respect where you are not going to talk smack about him when he is in your face because if you did, he will literally kill you. Which is why Chisora was just slappin people like Vitali and spittin at Wlads face and starting brawls with Haye because they don't have that respect.

    Would Chisora do that to Mike? Chisora understands the respect and he will probably just smile while infront of Iron Mike. :patsch :lol:

    Youngest Heavyweight Champion ever and the last true Undisputed Heavyweight World Champion by beating the champions of the WBC/WBA and IBF (I said last because Tyson actually beat the 3 champs that was holding the belt 1 by 1 compared to the last 3 undisputed champs like Douglas/Holyfield/Lewis winning it all by beating just 1 person)

    I don't think Haye was trying that hard.. and Wlad was just going through the motions..

    But other than natural talent, that's what made Tyson, Tyson. That raw Animalistic ferocity with EVERYTHING he did.

    Tyson was a Beast.
