I'd make 88 Tyson the favorite over any heavyweight in history besides 64-67 Ali.

Frazier Holmes and Foreman are a lock for me to beat him. Lyle has a punchers chance but that's all he has. Norton is a bit of a question mark for me here so I'll simply say 60/40 in Tysons favor.
    The rest no chance IMO

How come? Personally I think he's too 1 dimensional to beat Lewis and that 1 dimension is tailer made for Foreman, Liston and Tua to beat. Obviously imo

Calling Frazier a "lock" over Tyson is comical, and kills any credibility.

If you wanna present a case for Frazier, fine. But to say he's a "lock" is a joke. Tyson has Frazier outgunned in every category besides stamina. How that makes Frazier a "lock" is beyond me.

Same with Holmes. A man who in his PRIME was almost flattened by Shavers.... but Shavers wasn't known for his finishing ability.

Tyson had the speed and timing to catch any version of Holmes. At no point was Larry a defensive wiz.

Holmes ALWAYS had the flaw of keeping his left too low - Tyson would always exploit that flaw.

Foreman destroys him in an early round war, that fight would be vicious

Holmes cleanly outboxes him. Might hit the deck once

FOTC Frazier has a good chance but I'd still take Tyson by stoppage

All the rest are clearly and cleanly beaten by Tyson, though the Chuvalo fight would be fun

I think Lewis is more dangerous to Tyson than Holmes would ever be.

Even as a Tyson fan, I'm not positive a prime Tyson beats Lewis. It's possible Lennox had too many physical tools for him.

Tyson beats them all except prime Holmes who would win a close decision. Holmes and Tyson are two of my top three all time Heavyweight h2h fighters.

And Prime Tyson beats prime Lewis as well by KO.

uh yeah, I can see Mike backing up George Foreman, when he couldn't back up Evander . Be a miracle if Tyson gets to the third round

Ex convict 1996 Tyson that lost to Holyfield was far from being prime. Truth be told Holyfield weren’t prime either in 96 but he weren’t as far past his best than Tyson was.

Prime Tyson don’t need to back up Foreman to beat him he only has to use his far greater handspeed, better movement and comparable power to constantly beat Foreman to the punch and wear him down.

Toughest bout would be against a prime Larry Legend. A prime Foreman would be dangerous too. But 1988 Mike Tyson beats them all and in my opinion is 50/50 or better against any fighter who ever lived. Yes, he's that good.

Strange that people use any version of Mike Tyson post the Kevin Rooney firing. But what can you do?!?!

Tyson had trouble backing Peter McNeely up in 1995 as well. Then there's his performance against Buster Mathis, Jr. ...I'll stop right here and leave it at that. Post prison Tyson never got his balance and footwork back. Neither did he have a true corner until Tommy Brooks came along, and Mike was far too gone by then.
