fought with a different style in the ruddock fights , he became more of a 1 dimensional headhunter , although he landed some brutal bodyshots in that fight . but overall 1 dimensional going with the smith fight he was a beast at that time.

Tyson looked great in the first fight, and his performance was overshadowed by the so called premature stoppage.

The Smith fight was **** and so was Tyson's performance.

    Different opponent, different performance.

Though Tyson from the Smith fight was definitely a more dedicated hungry fighter than he was against Ruddock. Smith came to fight dirty, hold and last the full 12 rounds, regardless of what version Tyson is/was, he will still look bad against that kind of opponent. Though in the 12th, Smith did give Tyson fits and stunned him good.

The Ruddock fight, that was a reckless version of Tyson who dumped head movement and just went in there swinging for an early knockout. Even that version of Tyson gave a solid fighter like Ruddock hell, which proves how great and durable Tyson really is.

Hard to look good against an opponent willing to hold to last the full 12.

Ruddock fought Tyson in a way Bonecrusher would never dare to. It was a shitty fight. 12-0.
