    Mike Tyson was in Merthyr today, did anyone see him there? He was by the statue of Johnny Owen. Apparently there was someone with a Lonsdale belt also. Who was that?

    i was going to leave work when i heard of it. i live in merthyr and got told the town center was packed.

    It was just on the TV, the people of Merthyr looked as if they really warmed to him. In an interview Tyson was saying that he was a 14 year old in the crowd at the Pintor versus Owen fight. He met some of Owen's family too.
