Tyson wrecks AJ in his prime .He truly would. No knock against Josh ,who I've respect for ,but anyone who can get caught like AJ ,suffers a loss.Similar to the first Tyson /Ruddock fight with Joshua been stopped along the rope's .
Sure, it's easy to feel that if Povetkin could land a fair number of good punches and rock Joshua, then Tyson would finish him. But on the other hand if Thomas could win rounds against Tyson on the jab alone and Tucker could better that with some flush power shots thrown in, then Joshua would... And that's not even mentioning Ruddock or playing the Douglas card.
Oh he is ,but I stil see a similar scenario, with AJ trying to punch Tyson s head off but being blasted by the faster man Perhaps Tyson gets rocked several times in the process but I still visualize Tyson moving In fast and scoring .
Also can we stop it with the AJ threads, at least when people won't shut up about Marciano it fits the classic forum, but this is just getting out of hand
Until AJ finds the testicular fortitude to get in the ring with Wilder, we wont know if he could pull off a win against a fighter as ferocious as Tyson.
Its was never raw power (or strength) I was mocking on. Besides medicore punching technique, that big wrestlers physique also carried some sort of "big hands". The questions is: Is it likely to land anywhere (James Smith syndrome)? Would you bet against any of this folks landing on the spot with a full swing of rotational body mass + arm mass (E=1/2mv², studys prove correlation between impact and weightclass) having some impact?
