No, there will never be another fighter quite like Tyson, the combination of speed and power will never be seen again at the Heavyweight ranks, the division is terrible now adays.

i think guys like tyson only come round once every blue moon, most of us might be dead before another comes along.
its good that we appreciate them when they are here.
tyson for me in the all time top 15 heavies of all time.

I think that boxing is now in its first stage of decline.
Black atheletes that have the potential to become the next Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson go into Americn football nowadays and who can blame them?
Black atheletes are getting smart, they don't want to enter a sport where they will likely get brain damaged (which runs the risk of them dying early) and penniless.
Boxing is presided over by Vermin, the state athletic commisions, alphabet organizations and the promoters are all in it together.
Boxers are forever being exploited by Don King and leaving the sport broken in mind, body and spirit.
Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis and Mike Tyson are three examples.
Greg Page is another example, he was used by Don King, then tossed to the side.
Now that Page is brain damaged and disabled, Don King hasn't even sent him a get well card.
Even Vince McMahon has more scruples than Don King by paying for the drug rehabilitation of former wrestlers like Jake Roberts.
Boxers like Jack Dempse, Lennox Lewis and Larry Holmes were smart, left the sport healthy and maintained their money, but they are exceptions.
Whilst boxing is under the iron grip of people like King, it will keep on losing the best Black talent to American football.
Dare I say, boxing deserves to fall completely if it cannot rid itself of the parasites that preside over it.

Tyson had everything prime. You could say he lacked height but his style was suited for his height. The perfect boxer, even more so than RJJ, Hearns, or SRR IMO.

There will never be another Tyson because there will never be another Cus.

I hope that boxing knowledge Rooney and Atlas got from Cus will be passed on to another trainer who devotes his life and his home to his fighters like Cus did. I doubt it though.

I think that Heavyweight boxing has been a Black man's battleground for many decades now.
The best White boxers like Jack Dempsey stopped going into the sport when they could find a better alternative, the present class of Black atheletes are now following their lead.
I think that the other divisions are still going strong, due to the other nationalities at that weight class giving it their all, especially the Mexicans.
However, those divisions will probably start declining as time goes on.
When atheletes realize that boxing is a sport where the sacrifices come with less return, they will stop going into boxing.
The promoters like King are responsible for this, they exploit these boxers and leave them penniless.
The trend will only end (and could be reversed) if the present ghetto cowboy's power over the sport is removed.
However, whether that will happen or not, I cannot say.
