Mike tysons loss vs Douglas?

He's completely right. Buster was KO'd and ref was slow counting. Its a 10 count, not 13 count. I always felt that Tyson won that fight but buster was given a second life in it.

 

Yes I agree, the count was slow and Douglas was given that second opportunity, but as so he was weakened, Tyson should have been good enough to finish the show the second time round, considering we're lead to believe that no one could live with ''Prime Tyson''

 

Okay. That's fair. The internet is a place of constant attack and shouldn't be taken too seriously by all parties. Tyson was very unique though. The combination of speed and velocity which translated from such a small frame against bigger men was amazing kinda like Bo Jackson when he matrix ran along the outfield wall. You just don't see **** like that and I haven't to this day. And there are classifications of thugs. Some come from poor families and poverty, others wear business attire and are the worse of the bunch imo. But who cares.

 

If you watch it Douglas is up on one knee at 10, not strictly making the count but he was clearly able to continue while Tyson in the next round wasn't. I don't think he can cry too much.

You watch Buster, he's listening to the count. Blame the ref.

 

He counted the same for both men, troll.

Douglas was aware and listened to the count, and got up when he was supposed to. Tyson didn't know where he was.

 

Don King was the reason Tyson lost to Douglas, getting rid of Jacobs and his trainer Kevin Rooney was the reason..................after Don King go hold of Tyson, Tyson was never the same............

 

It means that the referee sucked big time.

 

The count was (marginally) slow. Not outside of the margins of a reasonable count, though. It's a stupid argument to make, to be honest.

If you don't know the rules of the sport, you really shouldn't comment. The referee counts, and the fighter usually gets up at 8 or 9 if he can. Given a faster count Douglas clearly could have risen before ten. Tyson was losing anyway. Had the fight ended at that point it would be a points decision for Douglas in any case.

 

Buster gets up and is able to continue, Tyson gets up and thinks he's on the moon, Douglas beat Tyson fair and square, suck it up you Tyson sycophants, the baddest man on the planet got well and truly exposed, and the NEW.

 

Just compare it with other counts...

I was young but a huge Tyson fan back then, I read anything I could find on him and watched video tapes of him. I am from the UK but I remember waking up and it being on the national news that Douglas beat him.

I didn't believe it until I saw the actual footage on TV.

For the youngsters on here, let me explain, we didn't have internet back then, we had smoke signals and drawings, it was a simple time, a time when video tape ruled, music was on cassette tapes.

You lot don't know how lucky we were, yes we were lucky, we played sport instead of watching it on YouTube or streams and we didn't have PS4 or XBox, we had Atari and thought it was the bits.

It was a golden era.
