Yeah I see this as more of a "Lets try & balance out & justify Mike Tyson's actions & bringing the sport into disrepute" type thread.

I think you got the top three.
Inside the ring anyway, outside I'm sure he's been gracious and humble to a large amount of fans and wellwishers over the years.

watch this vid at 3:40 for your answer:

The guy did a lot of charities (one of the most from all boxers. Both back in the eighties aswell as now) but for some reason Tyson never wanted to make it publicly known (probably to protect that marketing image of 'baddest man on the planet').

One thing I remember reading most recently was that he was in Argentina for the Maradonna interview and visited some ghettos. After seeing a boy with almost no clothes and shoes he stopped the car and gave the kid a big sum of money cash.
It only came out because the driver later reported it to some writer.

The same situation occured when he was in the UK last time as speaker:

Tyson setting up and paying for a proper grave for [SIZE=-1]Kid Gavilan also comes to mind as reading recently.

I think that's also how a lot of leechers were able to get money from Tyson. He was too giving to charities and people made use of that.

"One morning I woke up and found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honor him. I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher. I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like an infantile ******.”

I loved that story, it always brought a tear to my eye.

Another time was when Tyson knocked Eitenne the **** out, and when he went he looked like he ****ed up his leg, when he was doing the interview with Jim Gray and looking on the monitor watching the replay, Tyson said something like "Oh dear, I hope he didnt hurt his leg there".:rofl

No,its meant to be far more light hearted than that;its not that serious.
Im no apologist for Tyson;my user name should be a clue as to who my biggest boxing hero is,and lets just say he and Tyson have not always got along too well.

The thread is Tyson MOMENTS,not his most loving and caring sportsmanship during battles.I know he tried to break Bothas arm, which lends itself to Tysons conversely caring attitude later as a talking point.
This thread is designed as a counterpoint to his crazy stuff.

Look, i know Tyson's not the Devil and he's done plenty of "Gracious, Humble and Compassionate" things, but that one just jumped out at me as an at least very questionable example. No offense.
