Prime for Prime, who gets it? Does Weaver overpower him or is does Norris find a way?

This is a good matchup.. Weaver has the edge in power... i think Orlin is hard to hit flush sometimes,,,Prime for prime I have to go with the more accomplished Weaver... but Orlin is one of my favorite fighters...

Weaver shatters his glass jaw, Norris could box, but Weaver is catching up with him, every fighter at world level did.

Especially since weaver could punch and had decent stamina, poisonous combination for someone like Norris who wasn’t a massive puncher, couldn’t keep him off and had a questionable chin.

I selected Weaver to win by KO but he would have to be on top of Norris constantly and not let him slip away. It should be noted though that Mike Weaver handled some pretty good top boxers in their primes like Williams, Tate and Holmes

True. Bert Cooper managing to beat him doesn’t bode too well for his chances against Mike Weaver.

I think Orlin is all wrong for Weaver — too slippery. He’d in and out and side to side him over 12 rounds for a decision, or 15 if necessary. Hercules isn’t great at cutting off the ring and is just too plodding.

I did not. And apparently Norris lost because he twisted a knee or something to that effect but cooper was already leading prior to the incident
