Weaver is too dangerous for a guy like Jones who was in the right place at the right time. Weaver's hook is no joke and he had late round power and stamina. Weaver wasn't very durable but there's no way in hell Jones is stopping him unless it's a freak cut. I just don't see Jones surviving for 15 rounds without getting bashed up badly at some point. Weaver was fairly athletic and had decent speed himself. It's not like Jones would be able to box circles around him.

I think Roy would be on the move mostly, but would be getting tagged here and there, but eventually the big power would catch him. It wouldn't be pretty

Weaver KO late Roy could stay away for a bit, but when there is a far bigger and more physical presence in front of you and you have to constantly keep moving backs you slow down and it becomes harder to keep up that movement and. Jones would not be as sharp late on in the fight after having to constantly move early on and I think it catches up with him and he gets caught with a huge punch when his feet have slowed and he is more stationary and you can’t afford to be hit with a weaver left hook especially when you’re a natural middleweight

It is okay to be in love with skill and flashiness, but excuses are a bad habit to get into. It was not like Roy Jones Jr with all his talent sat out 3 and a half tears like Muhammad Ali had to to do, eroding his peak skills. Mike Hercules Weaver was a strong heavyweight, he hurt a prime Larry Holmes in 1979. Jones with all his speed and skill may hold off the inevitable for 8 rounds. Then Mike would catch up to him, imposing his will to score a kayo Roy in round 9.

I want to say Roy but Im not sure. If Weaver catches him it's lights out.

Weaver all day. Jones even with PEDs was not a true HW.

Weaver by 9th round kayo. Even earlier if Roy plays a basketball game the same day.
