You're doing this silly thing again where you like to troll and get a rise out of people I'm not entertaining this silliness this is why I don't like debating with you even though I have nothing against you personally.

I'm done with this convo good day to you.

I’d personally love to see Weaver. Win. No real reason just Weaver one of my faves. But I get this horrible gut feeling that Morrison and his camp knows if this fight gets rolling Weaver warms up. Therefore is see Morrison throwing caution to the wind an an explosive left hook leaves Weaver on his back. Also Weaver would be in danger for at least the first 5/6 rounds. A longer time than Weaver can keep Morrison away with his jab and own hook.

Morrison will come out blazing and try to end it quickly. Every second that goes by that he fails to do that, Weaver’s chances increase exponentially.

Good question. I would argue that from 1980 when he won the WBA title until say 1984. I know he lost to Dokes, but that stoppage was regarded by most as very premature. And many felt Weaver merited the verdict in the rematch.

I’m going with Hercules on shear toughness. Man had a lot of wars against elite men and beat a good number of them . Many of which could punch.

Throw out the Dokes KO. It was a week after the Duh Ku Kim death in the Mancini fight and the ref, Joey Curtis, panicked and stopped the fight early. Weaver was robbed in the rematch with Dokes.

The vast majority of Weaver's loses came when he was a part time fighter, up till Ken Norton told Mike he could actually be a contended if he took things seriously and when he was still fighting past his prime. Weaver fought a chit load very good fighters. Keep in mind the Leroy Jones you are bad mounting actually fought Holmes in a world title fight, something most fighters only dream of.

Weaver fought Howard Smith (who was actually pretty good), Duane Bobick, Bernardo Mercardo, Stan Ward, Leroy Jones, Larry Holmes, Scott LeDoux, John Tate, Gerrie Coetzee, Jas Tillis, Mike Dokes, Pinklon Thomas, Carl Williams, James Smith, Razor Ruddock, Johnny DuPlooy, Bert Cooper, Lennox Lewis and Melvin Foster. That's 19 contenders/champions.

If anyone is in any doubt a safe best of Weaver would be from Holmes thru the Dokes rematch. Some might go back to Mercado.

Personally i thought the punch in the back of the head after the bell vs Tony Anthony didn't do much for a guy starting to decline. His chin wasn't there for Thomas, and his chin after he started to take boxing seriously and train hard was always dependable. To bed it in further he was axed by a right hand from memory and Thomas didn't finish many people with his right hand. Carl Williams stunned Weaver early in his next fight, his chin was compromised IMO and had been in the Thomas fight.
