Surprised so few people know boxing and keep saying Mikey goen up 2...
his last fight was at 135, his next fight is at 147. 2 divisions. had he fought lips in last fight, it would be one. pac has fought at 130 before, so by your logic, pac wouldnt be coming down to 130 to fight davis, cause hes already fought there before. stay consistent.
Nah. It's unchartered weight classes in a span. It's 2 if he hasn't had 2 fights at 140.
Pacquiao-Oscar and Golovkin-Brook are two examples of jumping 2 weight classes.
if you got to put a list of qualifications on it, what is it that your actually saying?
Mikey's going up only one weight class because he's already fought at 140. TWICE.
It's still an impressive call out, but he's not jumping 2 weight classes.
It doesn't matter if he jumps one or two if he can manage. But nonetheless, surely the risk is bigger since he is fighting a world top 2 boxer in the division, whose natural weight is welterweight and is on top form of his career.
I get the feeling Mikey is gonna test positive for tainted Kangaroo meat.
Not when Spence vetoes all testing. And given that, it's ironic for Spence to bring up juiced Kangaroos given his own situation.
Floyd Mayweather playbook.
His last fight was at 135. Therefore he is climbing two weight classes for his next fight.
Will Mikey get knocked out for the first time in his life? That's more interesting to know than he is jumping across one division or two divisions.
What's your official prediction, friend?
He is technically moving up two classes for Spence, since, as Bandeedo posted, his last fight was at 135.
Spence wins by way of K.O.
