For me no. Not knocking Spence or his ability either. I think where Spence is in his career right now, he does not have the depth of expirience and big wins himself to reward his conqueror with #1p4p.

 

This. Spence is easily the weakest and least experienced champ at 147, which is why Mikey picked him over Porter, Crawford, or Thurman. However, if Mikey cleans out 147 then I’d definitely have him as P4P #1.

he is an undefeated champ whos earned crowns in 4 divisions in his last 8 fights, the last 4 of which included defeating 3 undefeated champions. through this little 8 fight run, he has been nowhere near any danger of losing a fight. for the 9th fight of this little run, hes facing who everyone considered the most avoided man in boxing just 6 months ago, but now is overated, in a weight he is obviously not built for.
argue against him not being #1, with a straight face. i dare you.

 

Please, errol is a tougher task then Thurman or porter. I’d favor Mikey over either of those b rate champs. Errol is favored for good reason. Mikey +330 is too much. Should be closer to +150
Mikey isn’t beating crawford though. If he wins he will fight pac for some money.

 

Definitely. Mikey is already a 4 div champ with good underrated opposition while spence is this guy who everyone thinks is the top dog at 147 while not having the resume for it and also is undeservely awarded the 10th spot in the p4p rankings. Plus the added factor that almost everyone think this is a mismatch which would make the upset all the more sweeter.

 

No one division champ can be pound for pound.

 

Tell that to the ring and other publications who some even have spence up higher. Although i dont believe not every one div champ shouldn't be on the p4p rankings for me its the quality of wins.

 

Pound for pound is for multiple weight champs.
