I'm a Mikey fan, easily one of top 10 fave fighters of mine but man, just fight & prove you are the best at 135 before focusing on the elite as high as 147. If you don't fight Bud when he was king at 140 and only move up to fight a 14-0 (?) fighter at 140 post Bud, how can you ask for other elite fighter match ups at 147 & be taken seriously ? Especially when Linares, Easter Jr & Lomachenko are all viable options & appear to want that fight.

Forget Spence/Thurman, lots of great fights in you're lane.

Nah, Look at them. Thurman is like a big bro next to Garcia. Garcia should stay at 135-140 this year and 147 if the opportunity present itself consider it.
