Mikey Garcia 2 Face w/ Keith Thurman; Goes On The Backfoot When Asked About Fighting Thurman! LOL!

I like Mikey but he talks too much.

 

You don't believe that. Name anyone.........from any weightclass in the
entirety of boxing that everyone was gunning for because they were the easiest conquest.
If that were the case, where's the gunning for Amir Khan, Amir is still top 10
and by far would be an enormoush payday for Everyone and an easy conquest. Or...........where is the
gunning for Manny. He's old and toothless now, nowhere near as dangerous,
lost to a subpar fighter (I thought he won but I digress), and he brings a career high payday
for anyone that fights him. Clearly 2 easier fights than a big hitting, fast WW like Thurman
and both would promise bigger paydays.

Then think about, throughout the history of boxing who everyone actually
calls out.............I believe it's always the person considered the "Top guy".
His own peers make it clear that they think Thurman is the top guy.

 

Not easiest to beat in the whole division but easiest of the top rated guys. It's the combination of having a name and status but also being beatable. Risk vs reward. They may see him as being an easier opponent than Spence and Crawford whilst also having more titles.

Garcia needs to focus on 135 fight linares easter jr and loma that is the weight class he will make his legacy at.

 

Same here though I’m going from a fan of him to not caring anymore about him as in the space of a year he’s let that insufferable pest Ellie Sechbac stick a camera in his face and answer to Sechbacs fanboy questioning on who he’d fight which has amounted to just about everyone from Lomo,Linares to Keith Thurman it would seem and crazy thing is he doesn’t fight often enough to get round em all anyway.

 

First off, how much is not enough? It's not like Mikey is some kind of draw. Cotto is the A side and its not even close.

Secondly, how much does Mikey think he's worth? Doesn't he realize that beating Cotto would do unbelievable wonders for his career.

And lastly, Mikey is annoying using names to get his name in the lime light. I love Mikey but he's definitely getting annoying mentioning names but not fighting names.
