[yt]_9-P4lTxT9E[/yt] Hmmm, you guys think that Mikey can really become the next big star in boxing? I was thinking about how Arum wants to push him in a bout with Pacquiao and how they have big plans for him. Trying to see if he has that "it" factor to cross over. I know his fights have stoppages but as we know it takes him awhile to get those KO's. What you guys think?
I don't know how they have plans for Mikey vs. Pacquiao ever. Maybe if time machines were real. Mikey is 130, Pacquiao 147. I don't get it. I don't see Mikey having success that high ESPECIALLY if they plan on moving him up that high over the next two years or less and I don't see Pacquiao staying all that relevant enough for too long to make this fight even worthy planning ahead for. After saying that, I am absolutely stoked for Mikey vs. Burgos. Great fight.
Does Mikey become a huge PPV star in your eyes? Burgos is good all around, it's going to be a interesting fight.
Burgos struggled to get a draw against Yakubu Amidu, he isn't a strong superfeatherweight, Garcia all day
at some point pac was 130 and dela hoya was 154. mikey in 2014: this fight, 1 fight at 135 sometime in june/july, 1 fight at 140 sometime in nov/dec. pac in 2014: bradley, floyd/provo. pac-garcia in april/may 2015 at 147. or mikey can do: 1 fight at 135 in june/july then pac at c/w of 144/45 in nov/dec. of course no cheating in the scales. also, pac will be older than dela hoya (both part time boxers), when mikey and pac meets.
Burgos will Upset Garcia. Garcia has fought a lot of brawlers in the last year. That was easy, because he is a great counter puncher. But Burgos has a different style.
