So you consider Pac's age... Interesting.

Mikey need to get his ass back in the ring.

I give Ward a lot of flak for inactivity, but Garcia is doing almost the same thing. He shouldn't have let that parasite Ariza whisper into his ear and stall his career.

Both Pac and Crawford beats him fairly easily. The weight gain is going to slow him down and he doesn't have enough intangibles to make him truly special.

Well, a prime Mikey is a 126-130 pounder. 37/38 year old Pac is a 147 pounder...

As for a 2015 JWW fight between the two, I see no physical or stylistic advantages for Mikey over Pac. I think Pac walks right through him honestly.

I don't think Mikey has elite or sustained success at 140 at all.

Prime Mikey is 126-130? How do you figure? Mikey hasn't hit his prime yet... the best is yet to come.

Despite his advanced skills, this jump in weight seems rather ambitious for Garcia. I suspect a great diminishing of his power effectiveness, and a heightened vulnerability in punch resistance.

    Perhaps...

It'll take years before that opinion can be proven true or incorrect whichever way it goes.

Seems most posters nowadays only recognize which division a fighter began his career at and everything else is downhill, so those folks would disagree on that principle.

I will venture to guess that when all is said and done with his career that his likely prime in retrospect will have been his last 5 fights from this moment (so: Barros, Burgos, Juanma, Salido, Martinez).

    Only time will tell.

I want him to take those belts away from Danny, that Sob doesn't deserve that. Get crawford and then maybe Pac if he's available.

Scared of rematching the Matthysse's and Herrera's of the world and has relegated himself to the Rod Salka's of the world. A disgrace.

Mikey Garcia has never faced Matthysse or Herrera so he can't rematch them. And he never fought Salka either.

140 is a great division. Crawford beats him, as does Pac.
