    Golden Boy wanted to delay the fight till late 2018 so Mikey took the Lipnets fight until Linares is ready.

    confirms that after this fight it will be Linares next

    But all you haters calling Mikey a diva can keep sipping the kvass, while Mikey becomes 4 weight world champion and unifies 135 in 2018 :deal:

    Well all the pressure really is on Garcia to make it a bigger fight by it marinating, Jorge is not going to be a bigger name by say September.

    Linares poses problems to anyone in the sport around his weight category and anyone who doesn't see that DKSAB.

    It's why I managed to clean up twice when he easily beat Crolla.

    He might well do but I wouldn't be surprised to see Jorge do well early is all I'm saying. He's a class operator and people acting as if he has no right sharing a ring with Loma and Mikey are way off IMO.

    These aren't the squash matches people are making them out to be.

    He didn't say Loma was an easier fight. He said it would be amazing because the have similar styles and that Garcia would be difficult because he's big and strong and most likely won't be coming back down to 140
