Mikey calls out the entire planet (Pacquiao, Lomachenko, Crawford, Thurman, Garcia, Linares, Cotto), but runs away when they answer the call, and then follows up w/ tired lines about money, legacy, being a boss, etc.. And there's still no announcement for his supposedly much more lucrative showdown/alternative (Easter) to Linares?
Too soon to say. If his next fight is a top 10 135 or 140 fighter I'd say no, but anything less he's a cherry picker. But, knowing Mikey he's more likely to sit out and waste more of his prime.
Mikey's protecting his 0. He was all but guaranteed, at minimum, shots at Pacquiao and Lomachenko. Maybe Crawford. He defected from Top Rank, then started calling out Pacquiao, Lomachenko, and Crawford — three guys he was in line to fight. Now he's running around saying that Arum will protect Pacquiao and Lomachenko. In reality, Mikey got out of the kitchen before it got too hot. Then Mikey called out Thurman, Linares, and Cotto. Thurman laughed, but Linares and Cotto were down. Mikey walked away from Cotto citing that he didn't want an 3 fight deal even though a win over Cotto would have raised his profile and increased his marketability and earnings. Then he walked away from a NSA showdown w/ Linares allegedly because he had something locked up something (Easter) that was more financially rewarding (no announcement after 2 months).
