    LMAO...

Are you trying to tell me that Rios, Mosley, Clottey, Algieri, Floyd, Cotto, and Vargas were the same size? They all weighed in at or under 147.

Was Rigo the same size as Loma? Both weighed in under 130...

Why not just defend his light weight title to me it looks like his avoiding staying in one division so its a easy duck of a dangerous fighter

It’s not about them being the same size after re-hydration, it’s about the agreement made between the fighters to weigh in at the weight limit if they both meet it, I don’t want any complaints on the weight issue.

Who is this fighter that he is ducking? Has he even got a mandatory yet? Actually I think Linares is his mandatory next.

I don't mean one fighter I mean by moving around weights his got the perfect excuse to duck the toughest fights and ever since he came back his carefully picked his opponents and all the top guys his been mention with hasn't happened and it can't be that they are ducking him and him not fighting cotto or linares because he doesn't like the deal the deal isn't gonna change by fighting unproven fighters the lomo fight well his not gonna sign a contract with Bob so why does he even bother talking about it and now Spence now all of a sudden his gonna fight Spence every fighter he talked about can't all be down the other fighter the reason the fights didn't happen

Linares is a lightweight Venezuelan fighter who lives in Japan with 3 losses, doesn't speak a lick of english and is still headlining boxing cards in Los Angeles.

Imagine what GBP could do with Mikey Garcia fighting on the undercard of the most popular Mexican fighter, with a promotional machine advertising Mikey Garcia's brand.

Again, not everyone can be a free agent like ODLH, Mayweather, or Cotto, all whom got their brand pushed by a promotional machine the first half of their careers.

I do agree with you I hate this win a belt and move up era that we have so people can say they are three weight world champion. That’s why I appreciate guys like Crawford, Kovalev, Usyk and GGG (although he didn’t take his chance to be undisputed).

He won’t be able to do crap with him just like bob wasn’t able to. These lower weight fighters do not make the big bucks now if Mikey moved to 147 he would have a chance of making big bucks but the problem is he looks fleshy at 140 what would he look like and perform like at 147?

The problem I see with Mikey is that he's trying to appeal to the American market and is imo neglecting what could be his bread and butter the Mexican-American market. The American market prefers the bigger weight divisions as do the European market, but the Asian, Latin American and Mexican markets actually prefer the lower more skilled weight classes.

If we look at the biggest names in boxing at the moment; Anthony Joshua, and Saul Alvarez they are backed up by two of the best promotional companies.

Mikey gets major props if he fights Spence. P4P #1 if he wins.

Who is his mandatory? What dangerous fighters are at 135? After seeing Easter look mediocre twice in a row, I don't see him as much of a threat to Garcia. Linares, as I've pointed out before has been fed a very low quality diet since losing to DeMarco, and Thompson. I don't see him as much of a threat to Garcia either.

It’s not because they are just backed by two of the best promotional company both are only really stars in their countries. So Alvarez has the Mexican market and AJ has the British market. Those are two of the most passionate fan bases when it comes to boxing.
