So if Linares pulls off the upset, Mikey wouldn't fight him because he didn't stay on the sidelines when Mikey was fighting? WTF?

This is like a girl getting mad at you for going out with someone else on the Friday she has set aside for her tinder date.

 

Loma stealing his thunder. He doesn't like that. He knows Linares would be his [Mikey's] career defining win (if he fought & beat him) hence Loma beating him [JL] would steal part of what he feels his rightly his legacy. It also positions stylistic nightmare Loma closer to Garcia & again I don't think Garcia likes that. Kid ain't Broner.... Garcia should get over himself, he chose to move up & play ball with Broner & Lipinets, no one asked him to! Stop trying to throw a spanner in the works u large headed android, this is a great LW fight between two slicksters. Only fight that comes close at the smaller weights is LSC Frampton III!

 

His just another Andre ward and the sooner his knocked out the better he did a ward with his contract with Bob and his doing it with his fights don't know where he got this self of entitlement from I mean his only fought salido and got out of that fight first chance he got and knocked down against Rocky lol at least ward did fight the elite guys

 

One of the most important lessons that we can take to heart today is not to be offended. Mikey here is acting like he is "offended" at the idea of Linares and Loma getting it on without him. That is the perfect example of egotism twisting one's perspective. No, Mikey, the world and the boxing game do not revolve around you. As talented as you are, there are great fights to be made without your participation.

It truly is a shame that Mikey has this mentality. He thinks he's the hottest commodity on the market and no one else comes close. The people around him must feed into that line of thinking as well. Mikey is an excellent fighter who would do well to stay active. If he were to take on all comers and consistently fight the best he might go down as one of the greats, but if he does not he will always remain a "what if" story. One of the saddest sights in boxing is a fighter wasting his prime years, sulking beneath the shadow of his own vanity.

 

To be honest Broner would have wrecked Linares and Mikey just beat him. Broner completely destroyed demarco, who Linares got stopped by.

 

If he fights another world champion you won't be forgiving? lol.

 

You know boxing rarely works like that.

 

There are levels to this. Being a world champion is great, obviously, but Lipinets is not elite.
