Mikey Garcia is a diva douchebag. Who the hell has this guy beaten?

Broner was a solid win. So was Lipinets. Garcia also has some decent wins at the lower weights. He beat a better version of Martinez than the weight drained Martinez that Lomachenko fought.

 

I wouldn't be surprised at the upset. Garcia seems to almost be dismissing Easter.

mikey is a master of technique, counterpuncher by temperament, but he has the skill and pop to be a wrecking ball if you cant hurt him, and the defensive footwork to keep himself out of your range if you can. just like crawford and spence, nobody has a solid idea of their ceiling yet, because nobody has put them in a scary place yet. make no mistake, mikey is part of a small handful of active fighters who could prove to be this eras historical best.

 

Broner hadn't had 1 notable victory in 4 years, losing every time he stepped up.

It was a solid fight by Garcia, I suppose a money grab but nothing legacy worthy.

 

I would agree he's a diva. I'm not sure at all that he's a douchebag, though. And he's an excellent boxer, yes.

Hear! Hear!I want to root for him. I like how he fights and he appears to be an upper tier talent, but to this point all he has actually done is talk a mile of ****. And considering who he's been talking about fighting, Robert Easter Jr (whom does not appear to me to be any kind of world beater) ain't cuttin' it.

I like Mikey Garcia and think that hes good fighter but constantly calling out Spence and stuff is a bluff probably.

Went up to 140 and fought mediocre fighters,avoided the 140 tourney even he had very good chance of winning it because the fighters in it arent that good and also lack experience but are of course slightly bigger than Mikey tho he is much more skilled.

Now moving down to 135 after seeing that Easter Jr looked super vulnerable in his last couple of fights.Keeps saying that he is too big and strong for Loma.Kind of annoying stuff.

There is no denying Mikeys talent, as the op pointed out. But his resume is **** poor.

 

I really hope you’re right. Mikey Garcia, Grandpa, and that male groupie who always records them need a serious helping of humble pie. I’m just tired of Mikey’s mouth always overstepping his lane by making it seem like he’s willing to face Tarzan, knowing all along he plans to fight Jane.
