Unification means nothing if it involves doing it in an exceptional weak division.

Anyone fighter can starve themselves so they can compete against disadvantaged individuals.

Crawford isn't moving up, he's fighting in his correct weight category which he should have been fighting in from the start of his career and then there wouldn't have been any unfication because he'd have been beaten and been another Devon Alexander.

 

Unifying all 4 belts is rare and there are plenty of weak divisions but Crawford was the only guy to do it. Commendable achievement unless you're a troll.

He was undisputed at 140. Holding all 4 plus the ring and lineal titles. Not even Mayweather accomplished that.
