Yes. he is one of the young fighters i am most excited about. I feel like he is the closest to a JMM replacement that we have. he is technically brilliant and he packs power in every punch.
Mikey has the best 1, 2 in the game right now. That right hand is a monster. Great left hook too. Defense needs a little work but i have high hopes for Mikey. Hope he has the grit to go along with his explosive style.
hes quicker than people think and if he lands flush, u r screwed. the only problem he seems to have is his defense when he unloads.
Except he only unloads when you're nearing your end... so I doubt anyone will capitalize on that... he never really unloads combos in the early as he just picks you apart early and finishes in spectacular fashion when he sees your almost done...
Im with you on that. He's got a very heavy right hand, though it looks a bit slow, its deceptively very powerful. I would like to see him pick up more offense, instead of being a Counter-Puncher. I would like to see him be more assertive and become a Control-Puncher, like Donaire and Bute. Still holding my breath, he's yet to still be fully tested. I dont think Concepcion is a big test, though i guess you could consider him as a legit Champion-level gatekeeper. He's a bit inconsistent. IF Garcia looks to be aggressive, he might close him out in 4. If he relaxes into his natural style, expect a mid-late KO instead.
For he is the truth. Just I was worried to see him swell so badly by just a couple of shots in his last fight. I hope that he is not hiding some glass skin . Seriously fundamentally very sound and patient. Big for his division very heavy hands and the trainer of the year in his corner. He also has the chance to be in and around deep divisions. If he is really that good it should not be difficult to prove it.
