    Sometimes JMM was too passive/relaxed in bouts

    He needed to be a tad more aggressive

    Yep, and I'll probably get destroyed for this and it's gonna come to bite me in the ass later on but I think he COULD even be better.

    I actually like his skillset and physical attributes more than Marquez.

    Obv Marquez has faced better fighters but hey if Mikey beats Loma and goes on to do great things in higher weightclasses he could surpass him.

    Funny thing is, Mikey did knock Chris John in a sparring session when he is preparing his rematch with Juarez. But at that time, John wasn't at his best condition. Later it was found out that he was struck out with illness, then the fight was called off.

    But in my honest opinion, a top form Chris John can outbox Mikey. What I mean by top form is the one when he beat JMM and Gainer. John is a very smart boxer and hard to counter. Despite of his lack of power, he compensates it well with timely and accurate punches, especially his jabs.

    just one correction, mikey is already a 4 division champ, he wants to make it 5 at welter.
