What makes you think Pac can penetrate Loma's defense ? Loma is much faster, much quicker, much more skilled than any of last 5 opponents Pac faced. His stamina and speed is not even the same as he was 10 years ago.

For a guy who spent the last ten years of his life fighting above 147, it won't be easy to go back to 135. And don't expect Loma to go to 140, he has no business in that division. If Pacquiao wants Loma, he should go down to down 135.

If Pac is really that good, he shouldn't have lost to Horn.

Very few people thought that Pac lost to Horn. That version of Horn would put Lomachenko, Linares, and Campbell in shallow graves. He looked like he was 170 pounds!

Do you honestly believe that Pac wouldn't land on Lomachenko? Lomachenko's been nailed flush by the likes Linares, Campbell, and Pedraza and you honestly don't think that Pac can get to him?

I do believe that Pac would land.

Stop pretending, however, that Lomachenko has a porous defense or is easy to hit. It's remarkable, in fact, how little the kid gets hit considering how often he prefers to fight "in the pocket."

You are not understanding this—a 40 year old Pac is still 10X the fighter that Campbell/Pedraza/Linares are. Pac would be by far the most dangerous opponent that Lomachenko has ever faced.

You're delusional if you think that Lomachenko can take Pac's power. And he still has to contend with the speed and angles. You knock the lack of KOs, but Pac's fighting guys that weigh 160+ on fight night and have never been stopped.

Thurman would KO Lomachenko and Campbell on the same night.

Lomachenko's not easy to hit, but then he's never been in with an offensive monster, has he?

Pac will land and if Lomachenko somehow is still standing, will be in survival mode.

I don't believe Lomachenko could beat Pac at 140lbs. At 135lbs, I believe Loma would win a competitive decision over the current incarnation of Pac but would almost certainly lose to a younger Pac. I am not convinced, however, that Pac wins by KO.

Alternatively, I favor Lomachenko to outbox any version of Pac at 130lbs. Mayweather is another matter altogether, however.

You’re just repeating yourself, saying the same things and still not getting it at all.

Yep. Lomachenko works the volume and advantageous angles, then disengages and re engages when most beneficial, like quite a few Soviet fighters. He doesn't stay and punch with the opponents punches often ala Marquez. I think Pac would exploit that.

    Lomachenko ducked Pac.

He and Anatoly know what's up.

Lomachenko said he needed a year.

Then he said he needed a catchweight.

Then he said 135 or nothing.

Then he said no fight at all.

Bob tried to make the fight. Lomachenko's father said NO.

Mickey won't go back to 135 to fight Loma. He will continue his boxing career at 147. I believe so.

He's intent on the Adrien Broner route. Just another also-ran now.
